Kandid Kids Photography
For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for photography, ever since Photography 101 in High School, I was hooked! I became the "unofficial" photographer for all my friends and family at events, for christmas cards, announcements, etc..... I finally thought.....this could be a great job for me! Kandid Kids came to be when my children were babies, and I continued for years until my life took a lot of new turns, and I didn't have the time to do it anymore. I recently realized how much I missed it, and decided to bring Kandid Kids back!
What should I expect at a shoot?
As you can tell by the name, I do candid shots. I prefer outside, although, I will also do indoor. I encourage the kids to do what they would normally do, and I follow them to get the most "natural" shot that I can. I am not big on the "everyone look forward and smile" photo, I love the crooked smile, and when the kids are looking away at something they find interesting, or in a fit of laughter......THAT is the real picture. I may get them climbing a tree, or jumping off a swing, or playing with the dog, just know that I will get great shots, trust me even if it looks like I may have not gotten a single good shot.
Where does the shoot take place?
I will come to your home, or to a location of your choice, and do the photo shoot, whichever you prefer. The shoot usually takes around an hour, if all goes well, and the kids won't even know I was there! I prefer if you tell the kids I am coming over to meet them, and to have fun with them....if you tell them I am coming over to take pictures of them, they might get a little nervous. I try to make this a great experience for everyone, not a hassle. I will do the whole family, or just the kids, I even love the family pet to get in the picture!
Newborn and Pregnancy Shoots
There is nothing more amazing than being pregnant, and this is a great way to preserve the beauty of that time. I would love to have the pleasure of taking a picture of you at this special time. If you would like a newborn shoot, please call me before the baby is due so we can get something in the books, the first two or three weeks are the best time for a newborn shoot, and we don't want to miss it!

- Photo Shoot - $150
- Fee includes an hour of picture taking, and a digital slideshow with at least 30-50 great shots
